Fellows with Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen

The purpose of The French American Fund is to give graduate students and early mid-career researchers in international relations a unique opportunity to learn about Capitol Hill, U.S. Congress and Senate, as well as the American legislative process. Fellowships in the House of Representatives and Senate run from late August to December or from January to May.

The programs of approximately 15 weeks offered each year take place in the US capital. In addition to their internship on Capitol Hill, students attend a class of their choice at the Washington Center. Our 2018 presentation brochure can be downloaded here.
